  These inshore flats boat pictures show assembly stages of an extreme flats boat with tunnel. It is 8 feet wide and 20 feet long. Without the motor, the flats boat weighs out at 1600 lbs and sits in 2 inches of water in the middle. The picture at the bottom right shows the additional layer of armored plating on a flats boat. (You have your choice of 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch thickness).
